My good friend is going through an extremely painful breakup. It was a long-term relationship, they lived together, they built a life together, she envisioned their future together, and he ended it very abruptly. Understandably, she’s spent this first month mostly in shock and tears. She’s trying to navigate life without her person. She’s trying to get to work every day and not fall apart. Loosen my grip… I came here once and you comforted me You told me to let go “Loosen your grip and let go.” And I listened because I couldn’t not because I missed you because I trust you   I’m still right here Learning to be only here Now, you say,     “Let go more than you ever thought you could     and then let go some more.”
